From Colle Xomo (1058m) to Cima Palon (2232m) long the way called “strada delle 52 gallerie”.
In the Pasubio group, long a military way built up in 1917 during the First World War by the Italian soldiers engaged to defend the Italian lands against the Austrian invasion.
The way built up in the hide enemy front of the mountain, is 6,3 kilometers long and it was designed to reach the Italian emplacements through 52 tunnels (covering more than 2 km of the entire way) excavated on the rock.
300m higher than Rif. Papa is possible to admire from the higher point of the group almost all the environment interested by the military events where died more than 13,000 people. From the top also nice views on the plains and the first hills before the Alps. The place is attended also by mountain-bikers long other secondary ways joined together by Rif. Papa.
